The Boyne School System is located in the area and has a great mountain bike trail. It's 3.7 mile long and very navigable. This trail is great for anyone looking to go downhill.

The Midland City Forest offers several trails. S McClellan Ave. lies approximately 2 miles south of US 41. It is the main trailhead. A $5 daily fee is required for access. There are restrooms on the trail and a changing station.
